Land O' Lakes Driveway & Sidewalk Pressure Wash

Got a call from a homeowner in Land O' Lakes, FL about their two-car driveway — mold had built up pretty heavy across the concrete and spread onto the sidewalks too. Not the worst we've dealt with, but it had been sitting a while. Dark green and black staining worked into the concrete, the kind you see a lot on driveways that don't get much direct sun.

We walked the driveway first before touching anything, just to see what we were dealing with. Once we saw how established the mold was, we knew straight driveway pressure washing wasn't going to cut it on its own. So we started with a bleach solution across the whole driveway and sidewalks, let it sit and work into the mold and algae.

After that dwell time, we pressure washed the concrete. This is where the driveway cleaning really shows — the pressure lifted all that loosened buildup and grime, and the concrete came back to close to its original color. We could've stopped there, but mold spores left behind tend to bring the problem right back in a few weeks.

So we finished with a post-treatment to kill off whatever the driveway pressure washing didn't get. Pretreat, pressure wash, post-treat — it's just how we handle driveways with buildup like this one had.

Driveway and sidewalks came out clean, even color throughout, no more mold staining. Customer was extremely happy — said it looked like a completely different driveway. Always a good feeling wrapping up a job like that.
